17世紀のオランダの巨匠たちにインスパイアされた2人は、絵画に描かれた牧歌的な風景を香りに抽出する作業を並行して行った。
象徴的なユーティリティ・キャンドルは、ウィル・カルヴァーのSMOKE IN WOODSの絵と呼応するように金箔で飾られている。
SMOKE IN WOODS』では、オーク、シダーウッド、バーチ・タール、セードが基調となり、グリーンリーフ、ミルラ、ウェット・パチョリを通して、遠い火の暖かさが立ち上る。ダークでありながら幽玄であり、隠れた燃えさしのくすぶった謎が明らかになる。

保存方法Store your candle in a dry, temperate place, between 15 and 25°C. Be sure to make your first use within 2 months of receiving your candle.
A hand-poured, custom blend of wax, and wicks constructed with natural fibres
How to useFor the best performance, burn the candle for 3 hours at a time. Keep the wick trimmed regularly to approx. 5mm. Clean and remove the bulb after burning and recenter the wick. For the first burn, the candle must liquefy the entire circumference (if you don't, your candle will start tunnelling). If the flame is too small, carefully pour out liquid wax. Candles must be placed on a receptacle or heat-resistant surface. Do not burn the candle all the way down to the base; always leave 1cm of non-molten wax at the bottom. Do not set in a draft. Do not leave a burning candle unattended.

Splinters, ash, a thin thread of smoke rising from the ground. In the distance, the warmth of a fire hints at company — voices half-heard, shadows dissolving as swiftly as they appear — while green leaf, myrrh and patchouli root the air in the damp earth of a northern forest.
Oak, cedar and birch tar draw it deeper into darkness, until a breath of frankincense lifts the ember, its glow guiding through the night — a moment where woods and smoke conspire to lead you further in and lose you in their embrace.
